Lion George Pretli joined the Fillmore & District Lions Club (5CE) in 1978, transferred to Canora Lions Club (5CA) in 1982, Yorkton Sunrise Lions Club (5CA) in 1988 and to the Spiritwood Lions Club (5CN) in 1993. Lion George served as District Governor 5CA in 1988-1989.
Lion Geroge is a Melvin Jones Fellow, Judge Brian Stevenson Fellow and a Life Member in the Lions Foundation of Canada. he has received 3 International President's Leadership Awards. He has served on the Board of Directors - Saskatchewan Director Lions Foundation of Canada for 3 years, Saskatchewan Lions Provincial Foundation since 2000, MD5 Council Youth Exchange Committee-2years and on District Cabinet for numerous years. he is presently the District 5CN Youth Exchange Chairman and was appointed as the MD-5 Youth Exchange Chairman in July 2007.
Lion George and his wife Lion Margret have 2 sons, 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.
